Lunar Moondae is art + emotion + journaling. It isn't about making images to sell, and maybe the world will never see them. It is also about working with lunar energy, a process I have lived with for 25 years, working with the waxing and waning, building and letting go of energies! Prompts to get you thinkjing when you are stuck, and a place to share on FB that is a closed place. I am Kate Powell, and you can see more of my writing about my art processes and sketches on my blog, http://dkatiepowellart.me

We had the most spectacular “goddess” bronze statue outdoors at my office (a historic renovated school building). She gave me a moment of peace and power every morning on my way into a challenging environment. I still think of her even though I’ve been gone from there for years.

Do you have a picture of her? I have so many great images of goddesses.

No! And she got stolen and recovered at one point. Now I think I need to go back and see if she’s still there!
